Our take on a classic terrarium workshop. We bring a selection of tropical houseplants, glassware and décor, and setup a bountiful terrarium buffet for your guests (showed left). We will teach the basics of terrarium making and tropical houseplant care, then guests get to create their own botanical showstopper to take home.
-
For a whimsical and creative project, we bring our selection of air plants, a rainbow of sand, crystals and stones with their meanings, and other natural toppings for every guest to create a unique, intentional garden in glass. This is a favorite for a relaxing and unexpected activity, like grown up sand art.

For less of a formal workshop and more of a walk up activity, we can host one of our…
-
One of our most unique, out-of-the-box workshops. Guests create their own 3D collages inside wood frames. They can opt to add live air plants to create a living work of art or keep it dried for a no-care one-of-a-kind piece. This is our take on a paint and sip class, but reimagined with wild twist.

some clients we’ve worked with…
Have a question? We’ve got answers…
-
We come to you, to your office, home or other location in the Chicago area. We work out of a private event studio in Irving Park, Chicago. We do not have an event venue for hosting clients and are set up to bring the party to your chosen location. Occasionally we partner with local venues for public events.
-
We include all materials, tools, surface coverings, instruction, 1:1 help during the event for guests, setup and breakdown.
-
Venue, tables and chairs, and extensive cleaning. We do have some folding tables we can bring (please request). For cleanup, we do our best to leave no trace of our activity, but for larger events or events in carpeted areas, we will clean our activity area, but additional cleaning of the space may be necessary. We are experienced hosting events in all kinds of spaces (and take care to protect your space). If you have a concern around cleanup, just ask.
-
Our live events start at $850 total. We do not have a maximum and have hosted for 400+ guests in the past. For large groups, please contact us to let us know what you’re looking for.

While everyone sees pricing differently, if you’re wondering this, let’s tackle it head on. A few reasons…
1) Flowers and plants are grown and transported to Chicago from both local producers and growers around the world. The cultivation, care and transport of plants and cut flowers in 2024 is costly and has increased 20%+ in the last few years.
2) Our pricing reflects our 8 years of experience hosting hundreds of unique, successful events for thousands of guests. We bring a curated and large selection of beautiful products to every event and take extra care and expertise to make sure your guests are happy and event is a success. This is not your average workshop. This is an expertly designed workshop from a master gardener and experienced event florist.
3) We are a small business and take care to pay our employees and contractors fair wages for work in a large city, with expertise to guide your guests with ease.
4) Beyond sharing our why on pricing, know that behind every event is typically 3-4 times that in hours of work for our team, between purchasing, pickup. processing and packing, unpacking, and cleanup of our materials before and after each event.
That said, we recognize our pricing is not a fit for many. We are working on ways to make our plant and flower work more accessible to all with free and lower cost online offerings and community events.

First, thank you! At this time, we host a limited number of ticketed events for the public. If you’re interested in hosting an event in your space, please contact us and we will be in touch.

We do! We love sharing plants and flowers with guests of all ages. Some of our events are more suited for adults or children over the age of 8 due to the technique involved. If you have younger children participating let’s talk to make sure we pick the right project for a great event. For any event with children, we require one or more adults over the age of 21 present.
